This program will help you develop the skills needed to find work in Canada.

You will:

  • Create your own plan of action
  • Strengthen your job-specific English
  • Learn what employers want
  • Receive one-on-one job search support
  • Get help to evaluate your credentials
  • Gain Canadian work experience
  • Have access to a job developer

New Beginnings is delivered at no cost to unemployed/underemployed residents of York Region who are:
Foreign educated professionals or tradespersons, legally entitled to work in Canada, with an ESL Level 6.
