What
is Simfit?
Simfit is a Practice Firm (PF) operated by Job Skills is a
unique adult learning environment which simulates all administrative
functions of a real business; however, the production and
transfer of goods is virtual. Up to 20 participants at any
given time work in real departments of a simulated business,
and devote 20% of their time to an active job search.
Who
is eligible to work for Simfit?
Unemployed
Individuals who:
- are
job ready (need work experience only)
- are
residents of Mississauga
- are
legally entitled to work in Canada

When
does Simfit
accept participants?
Participants
are ‘hired’ for a maximum of 12 weeks, 35 hours/week. Participants
are selected through a hiring process, on a continuous
intake basis.
