Facilitator: Candace Singh

Adult Educator, Canadian Mental Health Association Durham

Candace has over four years of experience working in the non-profit sector addressing the employment and social needs of diverse groups of people. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and recognizes employment as a key social determinant of both physical and mental health. She believes that some key components of addressing the social determinants of health are education and accessing effective community supports, such as Employment Services. Candace is currently pursuing a Master of Education and believes that mental wellness throughout the reemployment journey is an important factor in achieving employment goals.
