For unemployed individuals aged 15 - 30 who are out of school
The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) is a 24 week program that will give promising youth entrepreneurs access to resources and skills, providing the best chance for the success of their new businesses. Participants start their own businesses within the Youth Entrepreneurship Program. Interactive and supportive workshops along with field assignments help individuals to develop their business plans. Coaching and mentoring is provided during the critical start-up phase. Qualified participants will receive financial assistance. All at NO COST to you!

To qualify for this Program, applicants must:
- Be motivated to become young entrepreneurs and complete the Program
- Are residents of York Region, Bradford West Gwillimbury
- Are not in receipt of Employment Insurance
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
Job Skills has been delivering Business Development programs and services across the GTA since 1997. More than 3,000 entrepreneurs have started their own businesses creating an immeasurable ‘ripple effect’, by creating hundreds of jobs, developing networks of supplies and customers and generating millions of dollars in sales annually. In 2014-15 alone, Job Skills helped launched 298 new businesses.
