Are you, like so many others, feeling anxious about all the unknowns of this pandemic? Are you feeling exhausted from the constant newsreels, projections, estimations, and general uncertainty? This course is built around a workbook created by Dr. Sachiko Nagasawa. It will take you through some self-care tips, stress management, DBT skills, and self-compassion exercises to help build your resilience.

Marie has been working in Adult Education for 15 years. Her focus has been in non-profit, employment, corporate training and recently moved to mental health education. She holds a Bachelor of Art’s Degree and a post-grad certification in Teaching and Training Adults along with other designations, including Personality Dimensions (Level II) and Soft Skills Solutions. She has extensive experience training diverse groups of people and continues to seek out exciting opportunities, with her most recent adventure managing the Recovery College Wellness Centre at CMHA Durham. With a flair for the dramatic and a love of all things that sparkle, Marie is grateful for the opportunity to participate in the learning journeys of her students and colleagues.
